The fair is designed to appeal to black powder shooters/buck skinners, and is popular with the public as well.
This fair started back in 1982 as a Muzzleloader swap meets and evolved to a show geared towards family and public with displays such as:trade goods, muzzle loading firearms, blankets, beads, books, camp gear, art, knives, leather goods, historic replicas, period music & instruments, and much more.
You can find just about anything to satisfy the average enthusiast wanting to be part of the fur trade, Civil War or The Old West. This event is held in the Auditorium at the Lane County Fair Grounds in Eugene, February 20-21 (Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) Sunday (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
